Grieving Angels

I Am An Angel

I am an angel, I can cry too,

As if I was human, just like you.

I'll cry at your funeral,

I'll weep at your grave.

I'll wait for centuries, 

Until your soul is saved.

I am an angel, I can mourn too,

I mourn little children when their lives are through.

I stand at their graves,

And cry to the sky:

'God, if you loved them,

Why let them die?'

I am an angel, I can cry too

I'll weep until paradise comes and all mourning in through.
